Ever have one of those weeks where you are grateful at the end of it that you didn’t need any bail money or a shovel to hide any bodies? Yup, that was me this week. By the way, I DESPISE politics! Yeah, that was random, I know.
Last week I told you all how much I LOVE working with superduos. I mean, it’s absolutely ridiculous how fascinated I am with the possibilities you can come up with for using them. When I first started using them, I decided I wanted to make some earrings with them, but I wanted something fun to wear that would go with just about any outfit. My most important prerequisite for earrings is that they do not weigh down the ear lobes. I mean, that can be painful! Anyway, since I love the beach so much, and live in an area where some great beaches are just a couple of hours away by car, I made these. This way, anyone could wear them. And by anyone, I mean anyone that would buy them from me, lol!
These were made with Turquoise on bronze picasso superduos, beige lined crystal 8/0 seed beads, and sterling base metal ear wires. It takes just a small amount of each type of beads to make these and the color possibilities are endless. For photographing, I used a plain white coffee mug to hang them on.
Now, here’s the best part: You can have the tutorial for these earrings absolutely FREE. Zero dollars. Zilch. Denada. Gratis. There is one tiny little catch though. You do have to go to my store website Becca’s Beaded Bangles to get it. Go to the Patterns section, add it to your cart, and after you have finished shopping (cuz you are gonna buy lots of my stuff, right?) checkout, and I will email you the pattern as soon as storenvy.com clears the transaction. If you see something on my site that you like, but isn’t your color vibe, please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org or message me on Facebook. Custom orders are my specialty!
So that’s it for now. Please don’t forget to leave me a comment below and let me know how I’m doing, what you would like to see in future posts, or just to say “hey there!” Also, if you subscribe to my blog in the email sign-up box, you will get a random post now and again midweekish about well, almost anything!
Until next time, stay smart or stay smart sassy!
