Sarcasm Says Happy Craft Month!

Happy Craft Month!!!! So….have y’all been getting all crafty? WE HAVE!!!! Well, I say “we”. I actually mean “me”. Poor Becca is poorly so she asked me to guest post.  She has no idea what she’s in for! HAHAHAHAHA!  By the way, Becca will be back next week with that thread review y’all are wanting! A little about me…I’m the guilty party that created the monster  that eventually became Becca’s Beaded Bangles. I’ve been making jewelry for more than 10 years and I’ve crafted all of my life. My style is a bit different than hers though. (don’t tell her but i don’t even OWN a seed bead. Not even one! Ed. note: that’s because she gave every single one she had to me!) I create from things i find or that are given to me. I started out doing things with shells and bits and pieces I found on … Read more

Sarcasm has a Winner

I am sooooo glad that this is Spring Break week where I am.  I can actually sleep late – wait, no, sleep at all, for that matter! See, I am the one who runs carpool for my grandbabies every day and with one gone to his other grandmother for the week and the Doodlebug being taken to daycare by my daughter and son-in-law, I have a few days free! Wheeeee!!! Eat, Bead, Sleep, REPEAT! The other reason I haven’t had much sleep lately is I have been staying up each night long after.most of you, posting entries to my blog here to this little thing you may have read a thing or two or three THOUSAND about, the Sarcastic Beads and Yarn Spring 2016 Bead Challenge. My event was held over on Facebook, and was open to anyone who was an email subscriber to my blog and liked my Facebook … Read more

Sarcasm loves to tailgate!

My wish came true – college football has finally arrived! Not only has it arrived, but my beloved Auburn Tigers beat Louisville last weekend too! So I’m sure everyone has their own favorite team. Rah-Rah, sis boom ba! And there is no better way to watch college football at home (or a friend’s home) than with some good tailgating foods. This is one of my personal favorite recipes, not only for tailgating, but I will make up a batch for dinner when my husband is working. They are healthy, full of protein, low on carbs, and best of all, YUMMY! If you have ever ordered the crab rangoons at a chinese restaurant, then you will love these. They are super easy to make, and only take  a few ingredients too! CRAB RANGOONS: 12 wonton wrappers (these are found in the organic section of the produce department at your grocery) 1/2 … Read more

Sarcasm while eating healthy?

So, to my faithful email subscribers, every once and again (or just whenever the heck I feel like it) I will be posting something random for you get before the rest of the masses get my usual Sunday postings. It could be something like beading, crochet, food, some sort of get you over a barrel drunk cocktail recipe, or just something I feel you just MUST read, like it or not! Anywho, this time I am posting a super yummy, super easy recipe, that also happens to be halfway healthy. If you don’t like/eat pork then to heck with ya! Nah, you can just substitute chicken, seriously. I made these a couple of weeks ago, and man oh man, did my cheese loving taste buds go HELLO! So naturally, when my picky 5-year-old grandson decided he liked them too, I had to make them again a couple of nights ago. … Read more
