Sarcasm Has Another Contest!

I have really missed connecting with all of you. There, I said it. However I have had some issues with my health and a death in my immediate family, in addition to losing two Facebook friends. So, this week I am dedicating my blog to Larry Linson, Sr., a wonderful beader, gifted computer programmer, and an amazing friend to me. Many of you know him from the beading groups. I knew him on Facebook, and then he became a “silent” sponsor of this blog and we had many long telephone conversations about politics, family, life in general, where he never failed at … Read more

Sarcasm Reviews Another Board!

If you are like me, if you shake the family tree all kinds of nuts are bound to fall out. With my nutcase, she has lost her freaking mind! I remember all the stories my mom told me as I was growing up about how she wasn’t allowed to see or communicate with her father because my grandmother was trying to spite him by keeping his kids from him. In the end, all it ever really hurt were the kids. They grew up not knowing the real story behind it, and resentful of everyfreakingone involved. As one of you kindly … Read more

Sarcasm has a YouTube Tutorial!

Hey everyone, SO sorry to be running late this week, but well, I was in the hospital with this crater thing on my arm, and what was thought to be a spider bite turned out to be a nasty infection that was REALLY resistant to the antibiotics – even the IV ones! Anywho, y’all remember my “Penny Pincher” bracelet? You know, the one that was one of the winners of the Potomac Bead Company 2016 Design Challenge? You know, THIS one! Well, a lot of you have been asking for a tutorial for it, and though I haven’t finished the written one … Read more

Sarcasm Has Another Winner!

Happy Independence Day America! For those of you celebrating, PLEASE be courteous around pets, and especially near any former combat veterans when it comes to fireworks! It is a traumatic thing resembling gunfire to both of them, and you do not want to be the cause of a PTSD incident! As far as my beading goes this week, I submitted a third entry in the Dry Gulch Color Design Challenge for June (it, nor any of my other entries, won) and also played with my new peanut beads! I have had peanut beads for a while, but these are really cool, because they … Read more

Sarcasm is Wired – with Wine!

Welcome back to another week of snarky sarcasm, beading, and…..WIRE! Yup, I’m going to depart from my own beading for a bit (but only a bit – actually only a few paragraphs!) to talk about Wire & Wine! See, I like to drink wine – a LOT! It gets me through the long, tough days of grandchildren, beading, dental work, financial woes – and they are a-PLENTY right now (see my Paypal donation button on this page, please – Ha!), stressing that I won’t make it until I can pour my next glass, and generally just breathing. But I digress… … Read more

Sarcasm does it like only a Mom can…

Happy Mother’s Day! I spent the day with my babies in their new digs with a wonderful meal, some new perfume, and a gorgeous new diamond ring they got me! As I looked around at my daughter and her family in their new home, I couldn’t help but realize how blessed I am to have such a stable and sensible daughter – one that looks so much like me, but is so opposite of me in so many other ways, lol.  At her age I had just entered marriage and she was already 10 years old and I had no … Read more

Sarcasm does Jill Wiseman’s Book

Welcome back to another fun-filled week of snark, beading, sarcasm, snark, – oh wait, I already said that one, didn’t I? This week I have been BUSY!!! My BFF/Sis is getting married next weekend to the 2nd greatest guy on the planet (the actual greatest guy is MY hubby! lol) and I am doing all of hers, her daughter’s, her Mom’s, and her sister’s jewelry for the wedding. On top of this, I still had my regular orders to complete, and several challenges to work on or complete by deadline. Like I said, BUSY! I also have been cruising through Jill Wiseman’s book, “Jill Wiseman’s … Read more

Sarcasm is BUSY!!!

Thanksgiving has come and gone, and along with it, Black Friday and Small Business Saturday. I sincerely hope you all shopped the Small Business Saturday sales. Without small businesses like mine, we would live in a large corporate jungle led by the likes of Walmart and other big box retailers. Oh, wait! We already do! Seriously though, I make my living from my business, as do the majority of Americans. That’s right, 99% of businesses in America are considered to be small businesses, defined as having less than 500 employees. Of that number, 79% are home based businesses like mine. … Read more
